What does PatSnap do?

PatSnap provides its customers with access to an Intellectual Property database of more than 120 million patents, together with licensing and litigation data, economic data, patent valuations, image and chemical formula search, trademark recognition and more.

What personal information does PatSnap collect and why?

We collect personal data directly from you:

  • When you use our products and services – When you purchase or have access to our products and services, we will collect your Log-in Credentials, including your first name, last name, and email address. We may also use Log-in Credentials to let you know about any updates or changes to our products and services and/or to send you marketing communications about our products or services provided by us or our group companies.
  • When you interact with us – when you fill in a form on our website or a related PatSnap online page to: (i) register for a webinar, (ii) to receive whitepapers or similar educational materials, or (iii) when you seek help with technical issues, we collect the information you include in those forms.
